Leadership is an essential component in the development and delivery of a successful strategy.

A good leader has the ability to articulate a vision, to create the right environment, to motivate and enthuse people to achieve strategic objectives and to promote an understanding of events.

The CEO or MD does not have to be the sole decision-maker. The role is much more about sharing the vision, enriching the culture, handling the politics and, above all, communicating effectively with all staff.
